I started Pleiades Pixels because I saw the same problem over and over: small business owners paying too much for websites that looked generic, performed poorly, and were impossible to maintain. Most either hired an expensive agency that treated them like a number, or struggled with a DIY template that looked like every other template on the internet.
There is a middle ground. A skilled person who cares about the craft, works directly with you, and builds something that actually supports the business — without the agency invoice or the template compromise.
